The smartphone app is developed on the Unity 3D games engine. Unity analytics collects gameplay and device information from players who play games made with Unity.
The only user-level personal data collected is device ID and IP address.
The other data collected includes hardware specs, usage data, in-app purchase behavior, and custom event data (if applicable)
You can use the Unity data privacy link in the GDPR section of the app to set your privacy options.
The following applicaiton permisions are required. You can disable each permission individually (Settings -> Apps -> GeoAr.it->Permisions) but doing so will affect the applications functionality.
The image of the current view from the camera needs to be merged with 3D graphics (Markers, 3D models) in order to build an augmented reality experience. No images are ever saved. Images are only shared when specifically use the screenshot functionality.
The current latitude and longitude of the mobile device is required so that nearby markers and hotspots can be shown. Disabling access to GPS will effectively make the application stop working.
