๐Ÿ” - App Permissions Required

The following application permissions are required. You can disable each permission individually (Settings โ†’ Apps โ†’ GeoAR.it โ†’ Permissions) but doing so will affect the application's functionality.

Camera

The image of the current view from the camera needs to be merged with 3D graphics (Markers, 3D models) in order to build an augmented reality experience. No images are ever saved. Images are only shared when using the screenshot functionality.

Location

The current latitude and longitude of the mobile device is required so that nearby markers and hotspots can be shown. Disabling access to GPS will effectively make the application stop working.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Android 16 Location Disclosure:
GeoAR.it uses ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION to deliver augmented reality content based on your current position. The app does not request background location access and only uses location data while the app is open and active in the foreground.

Body Sensor Data

๐Ÿฉบ Sensor Usage Statement:
GeoAR.it does not currently request access to body sensor data such as heart rate, skin temperature, or SpOโ‚‚.
